Malia Obama smoking pot made headlines all over the media during the end of July. The 18-year-old daughter of U.S President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama had been spotted enjoying the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.
The teen was with a male figure during the time she was caught on camera smoking pot, Daily Mail reports. The young 20-year-old is none other than Taylor Bennett, younger brother of Chancelor Bennett or Chance The Rapper.

The 20-year-old was accused of violently beating a man at a party in 2014. Taylor Bennett and his brother Chance are known to be family friends of the Obamas, Marijuana reports.
Now, the rapper is being blamed for Malia’s “shocking” marijuana use. Taylor now faces a court supervision violation. Bennett was in court to face for trails Tuesday, but the verdict has not been made public.
Meanwhile, Bennett’s father Ken Williams-Bennett previously worked for President Obama as the Deputy Chief of Staff. He is now a Regional Representative for the U.S. Secretary of Labor, covering the Great Lakes States of the Midwest.
There is a speculation that since Malia Obama and Taylor Bennett were having an affair, the latter’s charge was knocked down from a felony to a misdemeanor, according to a report from Radar Online.
