As most know by now, Apple is all set to unveil their much-awaited MacBook Pro 2016 as well as a MacBook Air refresh. There will be multiple variants to choose from where buyers will have a field day figuring out what to get.
In the event that the refreshed MacBook Pro or MacBook Air don’t turn out to be that impressive, there are always the current generation models to choose from. One perspective that could draw folks to get them instead is the big price offs expected for each model. Some retailers like eBay and Best Buy have started to offer old MacBooks at discounted prices though these may dip all the more once the refreshed MacBook Pro 2016 comes out.
Apple Suffering Until MacBook Pro Is Officially Released
The word out is that Apple sales have been dropping and a lot of that is presumably because of the impending release of the MacBook Pro 2016. The understanding right now is that most are playing it safe, at least for the next few weeks.
Among the rumored features of the MacBook Pro 2016 include a 13 and 15-inch variant, something that will most likely come equipped with a Kaby Lake SoC, support for 4K display, USB-C ports, Touch ID and a Force touch trackpad.
It will be thinner and come clad in an aluminum casing. With that list of features, it comes to no surprise that folks would want confirmation first before deciding on whether to get the newest model or settle for the predecessors, Apple Insider reported.
A driving factor is the price for the MacBook Pro 2016. It is a given that these will not come cheap. Many will be looking to see which laptop is worth the buck so holding off a couple of weeks wouldn’t hurt. Apple will be the ultimate victim from all of this as it comes under some pressure to release the MacBook Pro 2016. Hopefully the holdup will be worth the dollars that they are now losing, Mac Rumors reported.
