Apple is widely believed to be releasing a notebook variant and it will be no other than the MacBook Pro 2016. For some time now, techies have been frantically on the watch on what the Cupertino company will really unveil.
Bloomberg reports that the MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to come out early next month, the first pro laptop overhaul in four years.
The months have seen various takes on what the MacBook Pro 2016 would carry. Consistently mentioned is that it will be thinner and come with certain innovations. Leading the way is that OLED touch bar, which will take the place of the previous function keys, Touch ID integration and USB-C connectivity.
Going internally further, it seems only natural to expect higher chips in the mix. To date, there is no official word on what chipset the MacBook Pro 2016 will be using though all that could be cleared in the coming weeks.
MacBook Pro 2016 Built For Gaming?
With most phones and notebooks geared towards the high resolution gaming niche, the MacBook Pro 2016 may be readying itself for that as well.
Mac Rumors suggests that higher-performing graphics chips could be in the mix. Though Apple has been known to place premium on this for better video-editing work, the target is the gaming sector.
AMD’s Polaris graphics chips are said to be included, one that can fit in with the thinner design the MacBook Pro 2016 will be toting since it will reportedly be 20% thinner than its predecessor.
If so, this could place the rumored Apple notebook well along the line of thinner and VR-ready solutions, which Apple fans and gamers will likely approve. With the hype created, the device may be another Apple product debuting next month.
All this could happen on September 7, the day when the Cupertino company is expected to announce the iPhone 7. If correct, it may not be the only one hogging the limelight.
