Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 phones have been in demand since they launched. Some reports also say that demand is exceeding supply. This can be believed, as Microsoft has since the beginning slow at making these devices available to customers. Now as these phones are released in different markets, news is that Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 950 prices have been cut.
Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL are still new. Amazon UK has listed the 32GB Microsoft Lumia 950 XL for £449.99, and the Lumia 950 price is now at £399.99. According to other reports on the internet, Amazon UK was selling Lumia 950 for £410. This means that the price of this particular Windows 10 smartphone has dropped further. The original price of these phones in the UK is £449.99 for Lumia 950, and £529.99 for Lumia 950 XL, as listed on Microsoft Store UK.
Microsoft also dropped the Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 950 price for students in the UK. The Microsoft Store is selling the unlocked Lumia 950 for £404.99, and the XL model for £476.99. These prices are inclusive of VAT. Along with the offer comes a small note from Microsoft which reads, “This academic offer for eligible students, faculty, and staff requires verification of eligibility prior to purchase. Limit five (5) copies of this item per 12-month period.”
A price drop in the UK is good news. This means that Microsoft is not just considering a cut in price, but is also giving it a try. Maybe in a few days, Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 950 prices will be slashed worldwide. Let’s hope for the best.
Note that the prices on Amazon UK may change at any time.
