Added to the recent concept art, the producers of the movie have also shared some details on our characters. There have been hints that Groot’s traits would be different from the debut movie and Mantis’s character and relationship with the team.

Earlier today we came across a new image, which represented a different version of the concept art. An artist has recreated the image as LEGO characters. You can check out the image below.

Forum members on reddit have also been speculating a LEGO release for the movie. But as user gusmarvel pointed out, “I don’t think there is enough Guardians content for a game based just on them, I think they should’ve included them in this LEGO Marvel’s Avengers game.”

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 movie will be released in May next year. The cast and director of the movie are expected to appear at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 as part of Marvel’s panel.

Even if the studio decides to unveil a short teaser or trailer during their talk, fans should temper expectations, as it has been confirmed that the public release will be delayed.  Fans can also expect news on other Marvel entries such as Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Homecoming, you can check out the entire schedule here.
