Liam Neeson Spotted Looking Frail; Is He Sick?
Pictures are circulating around the Web showing what appears to be a frail Liam Neeson, aged 63. The actor, best known for the “Taken” movies and the masterpiece “Schindler’s List,” had been photographed in New York looking alarmingly thin.
In the photos, taken at the launch of the Soho gallery Maison Mais Non, the actor can be seen wearing a blue cap and shades. He also wore a purple shirt layered with a dark gray jacket. He carries a container in the picture.
At first glance, it appears he is not the Liam Neeson everyone knows and loves. But a closer look at his eyes, his trademark stare, reveals he is indeed the “Taken” actor.
Speculations spread saying Neeson has cleared off his schedule, but this has been clarified by a spokesman, who told MailOnline, “He has just completed work on one film and starts another in September.”
The spokesman also said that Neeson “has never been healthier.”
Could this also be a sign that the actor is ready to quit the action genre? After all, he told Good Morning America his plans to retire from shooting and punching bad guys. “Maybe two more years. If God spares me and I’m healthy. But after that, I’ll stop [the action], I think.
“I’m in a very, career-wise, great place. [After] the success of certainly the Taken films, Hollywood seems to see me in a different light.
“I get sent quite a few action-oriented scripts, which is great. I’m not knocking it. It’s very flattering. But there is a limit, of course.”
