LG is set to launch the LG G5 model a day before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The company went a notch higher in representing the new flagship model through animated Graphics Interchange Format (GIFs) on its official website.
A hilarious presentation of toy robots, balloon animals, a Mr. Potato Head and peculiar crosses among bowfishes do justice to the job of explaining the diversity of the upcoming model. See this.
This also means that the LG G5 could be a powerful phone with major upgrades to the LG G4 released last year. This time, there could be fresh new designs, bigger battery, a new biometric recognition technology and a better camera in the G5, notes IB Times. We compare the two phones, G5 and G4, with regards to various specs.
Design and Display
The LG G4 has a 5.5-inch screen, while its successor, the LG G5, boasts a bigger 5.6-inch display. Volume knobs are mounted at the back of the LG G4, with options for consumers to choose between leather and plastic cases for the phone. The similar volume knobs will be shifted to the sides in the LG G5, which is rumored to get a metallic mold.
It is believed that with the LG G5, your camera experience will reach a whole new level. Compared to the LG G4, which had 16GB rear camera and an 8MP front camera, the LG G5’s 21MP rear camera and 8MP are more powerful.
Speed and performance is not bad with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 processor used for the LG G4. The phone also houses 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. It has a 3,000mAH battery. On the other hand, the LG G5 is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor, coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM. It comes with microSD card support. The battery is of 2,800mAH, reports Neurogadget.
