Beyonce’s fans were much taken aback when she used the new album Lemonade to out her husband Jay Z’s cheating on her. Every song, the album contains had a reference to the man in her life cheating on her, reports Daily Mail UK.
However, according to a source, it was actually a healing experience for the singer. The album has helped to get her “ailing marriage” on the right track. It is all about healing and transparency. It deals with rather serious matters like how women are disrespected and how they should be empowering themselves, a source told Hollywood Life.
Fans must be happy to hear Beyonce is “healing.” This should make her fans heave a sigh of relief, especially since they have been very bothered about the whole idea of Jay Z cheating on her with a woman referred to as “Becky with the good hair.” They have been very vigilant in determining who this girl is. Most of them suspect it’s Rachel Roy, but the designer officially denied these. Rita Ora and Iggy Azalea have also been dragged into the mess as well.
Beyonce’s mom Tina Lawson is also proud of her daughter’s work and made a toast to it without referencing the cheating scandal it brought out. “Making this album was a therapeutic experience for Beyonce, she said. Tina also shared a snap of Beyonce and herself clinking mason jars of lemonade. She made a celebratory toast as the photo’s caption.
“Toast to lemonade B worked so hard on this project day and night ! It was soo important to her to offer something that would bring about healing and hope to the universe! No matter what you’ve gone thru in life you can always come out on the other side!” Beyonce’s mother wrote.
