Another installment of the DC Comics franchise will grace TV screens as the spinoff for “The Flash” and “Arrow” recently released a trailer. Legends of Tomorrow previewed the superhero origins and evolutions of the well-renowned DC Comic heroes including the debut of Hawkgirl and Firestorm.

“The Flash” and “Arrow” have received high ratings for the year 2015. Despite the success of the DC Comics franchise, a spinoff will join the interconnected-series. “Legends of Tomorrow” is different from the two in a sense that it will not only feature new characters from DC Comics, it will also feature several cross-overs from both series.

According to Comingsoon.Net, the trailer for the upcoming series showcases the acting talents of those  currently in “The Flash” and “Arrow.” The said series include Victor Garber of “The Flash,” Arthur Darvill of “Doctor Who,” Brandon Routh of “Arrow” and “Superman Returns,” Caity Lotz of “Arrow,” Dominic Purcell of “The Flash,” and Franz Drameh of “Edge of Tomorrow.”

The said series will be based on the same universe currently being featured in “The Flash” and “Arrow.” Because of this, fans will expect characters jumping from series to series, including that of Atom, Dr. Martin Stein and Firestorm.

Despite the DC Comics franchise gaining strong attention in the series, Slash Film reported that its Wow Factor is missing. The source said that “Legends of Tomorrow” may be cancelled too early compared to “The Flash” and “Arrow” due to the fact that it has been “under-the-radar.”

However, the source indicated that the audience will still get a kick at knowing several C-list superheroes that weren’t featured in the successful DC Comics series such as Vandal Salvage, Firestorm and Hawkgirl. In fact, it was alleged that maybe these superheroes might be the only chance for “Legends of Tomorrow” to gain more attention when it airs next year.

Catch the new DC Comics series spinoff Legends of Tomorrow this January 21, 2015 only on CW.
