Observing the timelines of the Moto X Style and Moto X Play releases in July last year, the Illinois-based tech giant is likely to launch the Moto X and Moto G 2016 in the next few months. There are strong hints in the media as a Lenovo Executive revealed that the next Motorola devices will be “more innovative, more attractive.”

“Moto by Lenovo” is a refurbished brand, which will soon replace “Motorola”. It should be noted that Moto devices will continue selling under Lenovo, along with the company’s own Android handsets. The images emerging on the web unveils new prototypes of the company’s alleged upcoming smartphones. The images were taken by Lenovo fabrication facility claiming that these could be the Moto X and Moto 6 2016 handsets, notes Tech Times.

Lenovo boss Yuanqing Tang previously suggested major improvements in the upcoming models. He added the phones will be launched in the US, but the exact date is not known. However, there is no official announcement with this regard. While the tip-offs are intense, we will have to wait to find out what Motorola does by the end of the year.

Meanwhile, the source did not specify the detailed specs of the devices. Judging from what little information we have, the Moto X will probably come in a metal unibody, whereas the Moto G will boast a plastic back with metallic frame. As far as the camera is concerned, the Moto G’s camera will be positioned on the upper center portion of the device.

IndiaToday reports that both the current-generation upcoming handsets will display futuristic styles with slimmer physical configuration. In particular, the Moto X will see drastic design changes with a much slimmer frame. The Moto G (2016), on the other hand, is seen having similar design scheme like its predecessor, the 3rd-generation Moto G. The fourth generation Moto X is expected to come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 processor along with a heat pipe to keep things under control.
