Lakers News: Signature Shoe In The Works, Claims Nick Young
Superstar Kobe Bryant and D’Angelo Russell currently have shoe deals. Veteran Kobe Bryant’s signed shoes are still live and kicking in the Los Angeles market. Now, a third member of the Los Angeles family claims very soon that fans can don his signed shoes.
Nick Young, while responding to a few of his Twitter followers on Sunday, claimed his signed shoe is in the process.
Though no details of the shoe deal were given. This could just be fun from shoe-passionate Young. Young’s fascination for shoes is well-known. He loves his shoes so much that he owns a specially designed and dedicated shoe house with two employees as shoe-keepers. His variety of collection reportedly ranges over 500 pairs of kicks.
“The property, tucked behind a gate in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Tarzana, comes with a detached building that Young is converting into a ‘shoe house.’ He employs not one but two ‘shoe keepers,’ who oversee his 500-plus pairs of sneakers, a collection that includes Vans fitted with roller-skating wheels,” describes Sports Illustrated’s Lee Jenkins.
So if brands like Nike, Reebok, Adidas and Under Armor knock on his doors for a deal, Young would gleefully accept it. The fans now ponder over the question of which company approached him and whether “3p’s” will hit the market in the near future.
