On March 29, Kylie Jenner proved herself a huge fan of Gwen Stefani. The 18-year-old posted a throwback video of her 7-year-old self up onstage singing “Hollaback Girl” with her idol during the 2005 Harajuku Lovers tour.
It appears that the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star was pulled onstage during Stefani’s show and given the opportunity to sing a line of “Hollaback Girl” in front of a huge crowd. Jenner was too cute for words.
Obviously, the moment hit a mark on Jenner so she cannot forget it until now! On her website, she wrote, “During the ‘B-A-N-A-N-A-S’ part of ‘Hollaback Girl,’ Stefani brought a bunch of girls onstage to sing with her. One of her backup dancers put me on his shoulders and then Gwen put the mic in front of me to sing. I was so little!”
Apparently, Jenner is an avid fan of Stefani up until today. Instead of sharing the video for fans, though, the youngest member of the Kardashian clan claimed that people can have access on the video on her pay-for-play app.
“Before Kylie Jenner was Kylie Jenner she was a little girl who loved @gwenstefani (& still does) I was picked randomly out of the crowd to sing ‘ain’t no hollaback girl’ and it was the best night of my life! I had my team search for weeks to find this video! Full clip is on my app right now! Link in bio!” she said, as reported by Hollywood Life.
Joke’s a bit on her, though, because the same video can be found on YouTube. Jenner can be seen on the 4:07 mark.
