When Bryant discovered LeBron James’ mom Gloria on the hallway he praised her grandsons’ talent in basketball. But he also had some critiques to offer. According to ESPN’s J.A. Adande:
“Kobe thinks he still has a chance to change the next James generation though. He saw LeBron’s mother, Gloria, in the hallway outside the locker rooms and told her he’d been watching her grandsons’ blossoming basketball talents. He had only one critique.” “They pass too much,” Kobe told James’ mother. “Send them my way, and I’ll fix that.”
Shoot More. Pass less. Just like Kobe Bryant plays his game. Bryant, one of the best shooters the league has ever seen, wants to train LBJ Jr. The talented youngsters surely have a lot to look forward.
Bryant is set to retire at the end of this season. He is playing regularly with the sons of other stars in his final season. Will he be focusing on grooming the promising kids and youngsters post-retirement? He sounds like he intends to mold kids in his image.
Bryant had advice for another youngster few days back. Dwyane Wade and his son Zaire. And to focus on shooting more was the valuable prescription meant for Zaire Wade too. “If you want to be like Uncle Kobe, you need to shoot a lot more.” Bryant told Wade’s son back in November, according to Washington Post.
