Kendall Jenner New Home Has A Filipino Touch: Who Is Kenneth Cobonpue?

The model spent $6.5 for the three-storeyed house. Kendall’s new home consists of six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a rooftop deck, and a pool. However, it is the décor and the furniture on the rooftop deck that has caught the attention of one and all.
The sprawling wooden deck is furnished with pieces from the Balou collection by renowned Filipino industrial designer Kenneth Cobonpue, according to When In Manila. The furniture comprises two black easy arm chairs, a matching coffee table, and a sofa.
The dining table placed on the deck also has eight chairs. This apart on an elevated platform in the garden, there is double and single sofa with a matching coffee table.
The swimming pool sit-out also consists of a similar unit of furniture. It has similar single Balou and longish unit with comfortable cushions. There is also a glass topped coffee table placed at the center.
Who is Kenneth Cobonpue?
The Pinoy designer Kenneth Cobonpue has several Hollywood clienteles like Brad Pitt, and even royalty. The 47-year-old designer graduated from the Pratt Institute in New York in industrial design.
After having worked in Italy and Germany, Cobonpue created designs from locally sourced material called rattan for his furniture. His furniture is handmade with innovative designs.
He was also featured in the Middle East edition of the Time magazine, for being one of the crusaders of “The Rattan Revolution” in July 2006. “Each piece I design has a character and soul born from the inspiration and design process,” said the designer of the award-winning Lolah chair, speaking to Time.
