Kendall Jenner Finally Androgynous? Channels Elvis Presley On Fendi Campaign
Is Kendall Jenner androgynous? Is she breaking out from her pretty but safe and boring campaign and runway looks?Advertisement
In the latest campaign of Fendi, the 20-year-old model appeared urecognizable while donning an Elvis Presley persona.
The daughter of Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner has always been seen strutting on the runway with her long hair. However, as the face of the brand’s Autumn/Winter collection, she was featured with a hairstyle that looks similar to what the King of Rock ‘n Roll used to channel.
According to Mirror UK, what Kendall Jenner is rocking on the ad is “a more androgynous style opting for an edgy slicked back bouffant quiff.”
Sashaying 15 different outfits, including the brightly coloured fur coats and striped ensembles, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star worked with Fendi designer Karl Largerfeld to produce the high fashion images.
Prior to appearing in the campaign, Kendall Jenner already modeled some of Fendi’s creations during the Lagerfeld’s show in Milan, Italy back in February.
“It’s an amazing, timeless, special brand,” the older sister of Kylie Jenner shared then. “Every piece you see, you can tell there’s love and care put into it. You can tell it takes time.”
She even added that “the brand, as a whole, is so amazing. Every time I get to work with them, I walk in and I see the clothing, or the shoes, or the accessories and bags, and I’m always in awe, so I think that that says a lot.”
She noted, though, that it was kind of stressful decorating it considering that it has an area of 4,800 square feet with six bedrooms, four full baths, a pool, a mini screening room and floor-to-ceiling windows, as revealed by Realtor.com.
Based on her post in her website on Thursday, Kendall Jenner is set to fuse modern vibe with vintage appeal in designing her new home.
