Kelly Ripa will return to her show Kelly and Michael on Tuesday. She had sent off an email to the show staff, Friday night telling them she needed to cope up with Michael Strahan, her co host’s departure in the meantime. However, she had added she would get back soon.

Diplomatic that Kelly is, she spoke nicely in an email later – “(Sorry for this late Friday night email),” she said in the mail. “I wanted to thank you all for giving me the time to process this new information. Your kindness, support, and love has overwhelmed me. We are a family and I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday morning. Love, Kelly.” This is as per Hollywood Reporter reports.

She wasn’t present for the live show on Wednesday soon after she had heard of Strahan’s departure. Strahan who has been hosting the show is scheduled to leave for a full-time position with “Good Morning America” in September next. Until Tuesday’s show, neither Michael Gelman the Executive Producer not Kelly Ripa was aware of Strahan’s leaving the show.

With Ripa not being there, Erin Andrews and Ana Gateyer took her place for the episodes she had missed. Shay Mitchell, the star from “Pretty Little Liars: will accompany Strahan on Monday as Ripa will be on a vacation scheduled earlier on, says Hollywood Reporter.

Although Ripa is of short stature, the fire in her cannot be ruled out and Strahan’s sudden move did not make her too happy. Therefore, Ripa expressed her objections to Michael Strahan’s leaving by missing some live tapings during the week, reports Vanity Fair. However, she finally buried the hatchet and made plans of returning to the show this Tuesday.

In the meantime, she may have been thinking of enlisting Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer as the show hosts in the morning landscape as game changers.
