Dr. Luke is presently under litigation for allegedly sexually abusing Kesha. The court had since ruled in favor of the producer. But the controversy may turn an interesting twist after Kelly Clarkson described how she was also blackmailed to work with the producer.

The legal battle between Kesha and Dr. Luke recently earned the spotlight in Hollywood, especially when the court ruled against her. One of Kesha’s claims was that Sony Music forced her to work with Dr. Luke and if she refused, the company would not release or produce new songs for her. Furthermore, she also claimed that Dr. Luke sexually abused her while they were working together.

Dr. Luke has worked with several renowned artists in the industry such as Lady Gaga, Adele, Taylor Swift, and most especially, Clarkson. Now the latter had something significant to say about working with Dr.

During an interview with KIIS, which was first reported by Rolling Stone, Clarkson revealed that she was forced to work with Dr. Luke “because literally I got blackmailed by my label.” She went on saying that “They were like, ‘We will not put your album out if you don’t do this.”

She described working with Dr. Luke as something that was not a pleasant experience. She said, “Unfortunately, when you have that poor of character – so many artists don’t like you and don’t like working with you – that’s normal. I get along with everyone I work with, but he’s not just a good guy for me.” She added, “Obviously, he’s a talented dude. He just lied a lot. I’ve run into a couple of really bad situations. Musically, it’s been really hard for me because he will just lie to people. And it’s like, ‘What?’ And it makes the artist look bad.” She also went on and said, “He’s kind of difficult to work with; kind of demeaning.”
