Kayla Berg Chained And Screaming In YouTube Video? Police Investigates 2009 Clip

The Antigo Police has conducted an investigation regarding a video posted on YouTube in 2009 that could provide links on the disappearance of Kayla Berg some seven years ago.

The 56-second video, which titled ‘Hi Walter! I got a new GF today!’, showed a man talking about his date with his new girlfriend. The first few seconds of the video doesn’t seem odd until the man opened a door leading to a small storage room with a girl’s hand tied and left locked in the dark room.

The video has already been taken down as of this posting.

Kayla Berg Went Missing in 2009

The 15-year-old Antigo, Wisconsin resident was a member of her high school gymnastics team. She was last seen on August 11, 2009 outside of her boyfriend’s house, the CNN’s 2010 report showed.

The chilling video was first uploaded to the popular video-streaming site on October 11, 2009, exactly two months after the day she was last seen. But it was only recently that the video has gone viral.

In an exclusive interview with the New Line 9 News, Kayla’s mother, Hope Sprenger said the woman seen on the video resembles her daughter. From her clothes to her voice, it all resembles her daughter, she added.

Kayla’s Mother: ‘Chilling, Disturbing’

“[It] sounded like her, looked like her, it gave me chills. It made me sick to my stomach. The clothing could be a big possibility. We do believe she was wearing that type of shirt, we know she had jeans. I thought it looked a lot like her. I pray to God it’s not,” Sprenger said, adding that the video is disturbing and makes her feel sick and.

Meanwhile, the Antigo Police, through its Facebook page has urged anyone who has vital information to share about Kayla’s disappearance to contact the police station and avoid posting these information on social media.
