Is the Kate Spade Bag white or blue? A Twitter war has emerged yesterday as users’ battle over the color of a bag.
It all started with a Twitter post of a certain Taylor Corso who took a photo of her Kate Spade bag.
One Twitter noted that her Kate Spade bag is white, but the owner was quick to correct it as blue.
This was when the exchange of comments began were Twitter users were saying the bag looked white to them.
Taylor Corso then explained that Kate Spade bag is “mystic blue” and it might have been the light that made the bag looked white in the photo.
She then tweeted, “”Oh god #thedress is happening with #mybag.”
Taylor Corso was referring to last year’s online controversy about a certain dress where people were debating if it was blue, black, or gold.
With the outpour of comments, she then tweeted she’s now starting to see it as white.
“Shoot now it kind of looks white IRL. What have y’all done to me,” she said.
It turned out that the owner’s Kate Spade bag is actually blue as seen in the official website of the brand.
The Kate Spade bag, which is named as Cameron Street Candace Satchel, is categorized in Lakes Edge color and is close to being a mystic blue. The satchel line does not offer any white color.
The online debates about the bag also lead to the owner’s launch of a campaign to help people with type 1 diabetes through research.
