Kanye West is the center of another controversy with his Yeezy show at the New York Fashion Week (NYFW) on Wednesday. The 39-year-old rapper debuted his Yeezy season 4 collection that kicked off the fashion week.
The rapper husband of Kim Kardashian hogged headlines for the wrong reasons altogether. It was reported that his show was a disaster.
There were reports that that models were fainting and in desperate need of water as they were forced to stand in the intense heat without shade. Kanye West’s show reportedly started much later than schedule, Mirror UK reports.
Yeezy show started over an hour and a half later than the original 3pm time. All the models were kept waiting in the 86 degree heat. The show was held in the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park.
He basically hired out an island for the extravagant show and chartered buses to transport guests to see the latest collection for Adidas. However, logistics like water, food, etc was not given to guests.
Meanwhile, guests, who were invited by the rapper rued that they were not given any snacks or water on the buses. One even claimed that they were forced to wait in line in the heat.

Besides, there were no freebies. The Yeezy merchandise available to buy was on pricey. One editor called the fashion show “really bad,” “shameful,” and “horrible mess,” Radar Online reports.
Trouble for Kanye West started when he announced a casting call for “multiracial” women last week. Reports said that it was “racist code” for “not too black,” The Cut reports. Kanye West also made an announcement that he and Drake are collaborating on new music, according to a report from billboard.
