Kanye West may have gone off the rails as the “Runway” rapper had an alleged emotional meltdown minutes before he was to perform at “Saturday Night Live” last weekend. In fact, not only did he stir another controversy with Taylor Swift, he allegedly also has a rising feud against his sister-in-law Kylie Jenner.
As reported by Page Six, a video clip surfaced over the internet that shows Kanye West having a meltdown backstage. He was seen yelling at the “Saturday Night Live” staff saying, “Are they f—–g crazy? Whoa by 50 percent [I am more influential than] Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, Apostle Paul, f—–g Picasso and Escobar. By 50 percent more influential than any other human being. Don’t f–k with me. Don’t f–k with me. Don’t f–k with me. By 50 percent dead or alive, by 50 percent for the next 1,000 years. Stanley Kubrick, ‘Ye.”
He also yelled, “Look at that s–t they took my f—–g stage off’a SNL without asking me. I am bummed … If I am going to do this we are breaking the m———–g Internet.”
An eyewitness attested that the rapper looked like he was having an emotional breakdown when he acted out. The source also said that he referred to those he screamed at as “white m———–s” and threatened to walk out on the show. He allegedly failed to abide by his threat because no one had access to the freight elevator and decided to push on with the show.
A source from West’s camp said to his defense, “Right before he was about to go on live television they took his stage apart. Like any artist, he’s a perfectionist and wanted his performance to be right. Of course he was upset.”
In other news, the SNL meltdown was not the only thing that’s keeping West’s name in the buzz at present. Apart from claiming that he made Taylor Swift famous as was mentioned in his song, “Famous,” West also revealed that he was upset with his sister-in-law, Kylie Jenner.
Last Wednesday, Adam Petrick, the Global Director of Brand and Marketing for PUMA announced, “I am pleased and excited to be able to confirm that PUMA is indeed working with Kylie Jenner. Kylie will be featured in the brand’s Spring/Summer women’s training campaign launching in April 2016. Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion and we couldn’t think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for PUMA,” reports E! Online.
West was said to have been smashed by the news since he initially announced on Twitter, “1000% there will never be a Kylie Puma anything,” he wrote. “That’s on my family! 1000% Kylie is on Yeezy team!!!” Much to his dismay, Jenner went and consigned although he had already branded her as part of his team.
In a previous report, a co-rapper who Kanye West, Rhymefest, who worked on his album claimed, “[West] needs help, in the form of counseling. Spiritual & mental. He should step away from the public & yesmen & heal.”
