As of now, the main story line for “Justice League” movie remains in the shadows. The official synopsis only revealed Batman’s “restored faith in humanity” due to “Superman’s selfless act” and his journey to recruit other metahumans to form a team.
After the release of its initial teaser trailer, fans were rest assured that “Justice League” movie’s plot will be about the invasion from Apokolips. However, it looks the main script written by Zack Snyder has been rewritten.
Recently, Forbes contributor Mark Hughes confirmed that Geoff Johns and Ben Affleck have made some “notable rewrites to the script. The journalist clarified that both producers have a say in the making of “Justice League” movie. Check out his tweet below.
In Mark Hughes’ later responses on twitter, the journalist also confirmed that the rewrites were to align “Justice League” movie with reboot Batman movie. So, “Affleck’s inputs” were important to the script.
Geoff Johns is the president and COO of DC Comics. Currently, he is also in charge of the decision made for DCEU title. Actor and Director Ben Affleck is working side by side with Justice League movie and also in the scripting phase of his reboot Batman movie.
Zack Snyder’s previous title “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” was criticized on many levels by film critics and fans. Although the director’s vision for the movie has been supported by many, it looks like DCEU has included Geoff Johns and Ben Affleck to course correct their errors.
The recently released Suicide Squad by David Ayer was also a victim to criticism. However, the film received mixed responses as some critics provided constructive reviews. Furthermore, the movie is also outperforming in box office and has stepped over other MCU titles like Deadpool, Guardians of the Galaxy etc.
