What's This?

This year’s Comic-con at San Diego will be a treat to DC Extended Universe fans, as both Justice League and Suicide Squad will be featured in the convention. But what announcements can we expect from them?

Suicide Squad would probably have the upper hand at Comic-con, as the movie is just a month away from its release. Justice League has been making a lot of noise recently, thanks to its big reveal last month. However, a new speculation suggests an announcement that could involve both movies.

According to Just Jared, Jared Leto was spotted at LAX Airport this Wednesday in Los Angeles. The actor, who plays the role of Joker in Suicide Squad, visited London. But it looks like it was a business travel, as fans are speculating that the Oscar winner went to London for Justice League filming.

Earlier this week, we came across footage of Joker in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition. The images were screenshots of Joker in Suicide Squad. You can check out the video below.

It’s possible for Joker to make a cameo appearance in Justice League as director Zack Snyder confirmed that DC Extended Universe will produce another movie with a different storyline after Justice League. But as of now, JL has been confirmed to have no sequels. Perhaps, the studio wishes to involve Joker in their next untitled lineup.

In other news, J.K Simmons just shattered rumors about his ripped physique. The actor denied that he improved his physique for his role as Commissioner Gordon in Justice League.

“Yeah, well that’s a gigantic misconception,” Simmons told Huffington Post. “I just like to work out now. And getting to the gym really has nothing, I’m not going to the gym because of Justice League.”

The actor’s reason for his transformation was due to his earlier “super fat and out of shape” physique. Simmons said that it was just “coincidental” to the filming of Justice League.

Suicide Squad will be released on August 4. On the other hand, Justice League is still under production and has been scheduled for release on November 17, 2017.
