The legendary Ron Perlman is known for his role as Hellboy in Hollywood cinema. However, the DC fans will remember him for his voice in the animated series “Teen Titans” as Slade and Killer Croc in “The Batman.”


For a long time, Ron Perlman has been rumored to play as Swamp Thing in Justice League Dark. While it was recently confirmed that the project is live and Doug Liman will be directing the movie, fans were left disappointed as Perlman shattered the rumors suggesting it to be “urban myth internet noise.”

While Ron Perlman confirmed that he wasn’t approached to play as Swamp Thing, the actor still hasn’t denied that has no connection with Warner Bros. for DC films.

Thanks to the recent Deathstroke clip released by Ben Affleck, fans have brought up a new discussion. Ron Perlman’s Twitter followers are suggesting the actor to be the perfect Slade Wilson for DC Cinematic Universe.

Twitter user MisterBatfleck revealed his dedication by including Ron Perlman’s voice to the Deathstroke clip. While the footage managed to leave his followers awestruck, Perlman also retweeted the video saying, “I rest Mr BatFleck’s case.” Check out his tweet below.

While Ron Perlman has been fan-cast for many DC roles, fans believe his portrayal of Slade Wilson a.k.a Deathstroke would be perfect. However, it looks like the possibility is not likely.

Recently, there have been speculations that Joe Manganiello has already been approached for the mercenary role. Furthermore, it has also been claimed that he will be appearing as Deathstroke in Justice League movie as well.

Earlier on Wednesday, an alleged leak on 4chan suggested that “Deathstroke is scheduled to appear in three future films.” As of now, Warner Bros. hasn’t officially confirmed these recent rumors.
