The 2000-generation film princess, Julia Stiles, finally got engaged to her boyfriend. The actress met beau Preston J. Cook on the set of her latest film with Anthony Hopkins entitled, “Go With Me.” Their engagement, sealed with a round-cut diamond, was flaunted on Stiles’ Instagram account wherein she happily shared a snapshot of her and her fiancé interlocking hands.
Stiles first announced her romantic relationship with Cook last July of 2015 when she was interviewed by The Guardia, where she said, “It might have happened this morning. I am dating a camera assistant I met at work called Preston,” reported Huffington Post.
After less than a year of dating, Stiles and Cook finally took their relationship to the next step as the actress posted a picture of Cook’s hand intertwined with hers and a gorgeous round-cut diamond ring around her finger.
According to New York Daily News, Stiles and Cook got engaged over the holiday where the couple spent Christmas together at a private residence in Isla Grande, Colombia.
Julia Stiles had been the star of several 20th century films such as “The Prince and Me” and “Save The Last Dance” during the 1990s and early 2000s. She also starred as one of the supporting roles in the “Bourne” franchise as Nikki, the CIA intelligence girl whose character would be featured in the upcoming “Bourne 5” movie and landed a lead role in last year’s “Go With Me.” The latter movie, however, is more close to her heart as she met Preston J. Cook on set.
Stiles played a woman who went back to her Pacific Northwest roots in “Go With Me,” reported Variety. Her character became victim to harassment by an ex-cop turned criminal. She then asked the help of Anthony Hopkins’ character, an ex-logger, to implicate the said harasser.
Cook was working as a Camera Assistant during filming of said film. In fact, he worked with Leonardo DiCaprio in recently released “The Revenant” as well.
