The truth behind Jon Snow’s death became cloudier due to different statements by artists from the show. This time, Kit Harington has taken over the matter. He mentioned, “I was hoping that there would be an outcry of ‘why?’ and ‘oh god, no, no’ rather than ‘thank god’. That was the right reaction as far as I was concerned!”
He told Digital Spy, “People didn’t want me to die, but he’s dead. So there you go, everyone has to get used to it.” While saying so, he also mentioned that Jon Snow will have minimal involvement in the sixth season.
“I haven’t done Thrones in a while. I had quite a lot of time off last year. I’ve been taking it easy. And relaxing. When I realized I was doing this, I had a few months to prepare for it, and something like this takes some working through before even getting into the rehearsal room. ”
Jon Arryn’s death is also going to be tackled in a better manner in the new season. Sir John Standing played the corpse in the coffin for a few scenes in the earlier season. The scene saw Arryn’s final moment where he was attempting to scrawl a note. However, according to the actor, Arryn will have a more brutal end.
