JK Simmons Body Transformation For ‘Justice League’ Jaw-dropping
It looks like Commissioner Gordon will put the Man of Steel and Batman to shame in DC’s upcoming Justice League movie in 2017. While fans have been busy complimenting the body transformations of Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, J.K. Simmons has been silently hitting the gym, toning his body for his role as Commissioner in Gotham City.Advertisement
Thanks to Batman News, we have our hands on one of J.K. Simmons gym session pictures. He can be seen lifting some dumbbells. The picture landed on the internet via his fitness trainer Aaron Williamson’s Instagram account.
The actor was earlier noted for his fit body in Whiplash. Judging by these photos, we are sure that J.K. Simmons won’t be standing around, gazing at Gotham city from the top of buildings in Justice League.
Fans can rest assured that J.K. Simmons’ body won’t be the only appealing thing in the movie. The 61-year-old actor sported a mustache similar to the comic version of Gordon on Sunday night during his appearance at the LA Geek Film festival.
Previously, the actor played the role of J. Jonah Jameson, boss of Peter Parker in Marvel’s Spider-Man (2002). Although Gordon is known not for his physique but for his wit, he eventually became the next Batman after the unfortunate incident with Bruce Wayne in the Divergence story.
As pointed out by Collider, his roles in Whiplash and Spider-Man stand as some of the most memorable in film history. Both movies feature Simmons with a bad temper. Hopefully, we get to see his temper combine with his detective skills in Justice League.
