Harry Potter fans rejoice as their favorite author, J.K. Rowling, announces the extension of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.
Originally, only three parts of the story will be produced but now they have come into decision to make it five. Looks like they are giving more reasons for fans to anticipate this fantasy action film as November draws closer, according to BBC. The film will be directed by David Yates, who also directed the final four Harry Potter films.
Rowling confirmed through a fan gathering in London, “We set a trilogy as a placeholder because we knew there would be more than one movie, but … we’re pretty sure it’s going to be five movies.”
She also adds, “We always knew it was going to be more than one movie, and we said a trilogy as a place holder. But I’ve done the plotting properly and I’m pretty sure it’s going to be five movies.” Guess there’s no backing out now.
The Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is set to film in New York. Harry Potter fans are mostly giddy about this since first, this is Rowling’s debut as a screenwriter and second, Fantastic Beasts is a spin-off and prequel of Harry Potter.
Fantastic Beast’s setting is seven decades before Harry Potter reads his book in the Hogwarts school. Fantastic Beasts reportedly will track down Gellert Grindelwald’s rising and his battle with Dumbledore, the popular wizard headmaster from the Potter stories.
Fans were not the only one surprised in this news, but also the cast including Eddie Redmayne, who portrays Newt Scamander. He describes Rowling as a unique one, “She has the most extraordinary imagination of our generation and she has created something entirely different.” “That world is spilling out of her head in a unique way.”
