Japan Quake: A magnitude 7.0 hit northwest Japan on Friday. Find about the immediate tsunami warnings.

A magnitude 7.0 hit northwest Japan on Friday. The earthquake, which was recorded off Ryukyu Islands, had no immediate tsunami danger.

According to CNN, British Columbia, Alaska and the US West Coast are in no immediate danger of any tsunami.

The earthquake was recorded off the western shores of Makurazaki, Japan. U.S. Geological Survey released a statement that said that the earthquake is not strong enough to generate a tsunami.
