Janet Jackson is pregnant at the age of 50 and her family is worried about a possible miscarriage.
The singer, who is expecting her first child with husband Wissam Al Mana, has got her family members anxious over the fact that she is pregnant at such a risky age.
It also did not help that Janet Jackson is not feeling well in the past few days of her pregnancy.
“Janet isn’t feeling that great. She has gained more weight than she anticipated,” a source told E! News. “It hasn’t been the easiest pregnancy at all. She is excited to have her baby, and that’s the light at the end of the tunnel.”
Janet Jackson’s pregnant condition made her brothers and sisters worry over her age and not all are happy because it may cause a miscarriage.
“A few of Janet’s brothers and sisters do not share the same happiness because they think that Janet is too old to be doing this,” another insider from Radar Online dished out. “They just are extremely worried because they do not want to see something happen to her or the baby.”
The singer also had her surgery where a tumor was removed from her throat, making her family members believe that she should recover first.
Janet Jackson confirmed last May that she is pregnant with her first child. Just recently, she was spotted finally showing off her growing baby bump as she picked up some baby products in Central London.
Us magazine added that Janet Jackson’ is under doctor’s order to take rest in the course of her pregnancy.
“She is doing OK and resting until she is due for her baby,” an insider told recently following Janet Jackson experience complications. “[Janet] is aware of complications, but as of now doctors say she is OK.”
The singer’s “Unbreakable World Tour” has also been cancelled this year after Janet Jackson broke the news that she is pregnant.
