ISIS Beheads Russian Agent – Report

ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) has just released another gruesome video that shows the beheading of a man that supposedly a Russian agent with the Federal Security Service (FSB).


According to a report from Heavy, the Russian man recently executed identified himself as 23-year old Chechen Khasiev Magomid. In the video, Magomid had mentioned that he came from the city of Grozny. The beheading took place in the ISIS’ stronghold, Raqqa, and was done by a Russian ISIS fighter who never bothered to cover his face.

ISIS had released the said execution video last December 2. It was entitled, “You Shall be Disappointed and Humiliated O Russians.” Before he was killed, Magomid had stated the he had stepped into ISIS territory back in August 2014 and that he had been tasked with gathering various information on ISIS fighters, including their names and photos.

Following the said statement, the executioner declared, “We will kill your sons… for each son you killed here.” Soon, the Russian ISIS fighter grabbed Magomid by the hair and proceeded to behead him with a military knife.

Meanwhile, the final message of the video was aimed at Russian President Vladimir Putin. In the video, the Russian ISIS fighter had referred to Putin as a “dog” and called Russian “infidels.”

According to Reuters, Moscow has never stated that they have citizens being held hostage by ISIS. There has been no comment from Russia’s foreign ministry or FSB. This is the latest ISIS attack against Russia, following the bombing of a Russian jetliner back in September.
