What's This?

Is Iron Man 4 cancelled? Don’t get disappointed, because a delay does not suggest a cancellation. The Iron Man 4 release date is planned to be somewhere in 2020. Marvel Studios will not be releasing the movie prior to that.

Iron Man 3 was released in 2013. Robert Downey Jr debuted in the Iron Man series in 2008 and since then has been a regular for Marvel. When asked about the Iron Man 4 release date on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Robert Downey Jr. said that “they are in the middle of negotiations.”

Chris Evans said he would also be interested to be part of the movie. “I’d be happy to be in an Iron Man movie. We’ve been in so many movies together, the titles are almost, at this point, inconsequential. We all win!”

According to updates, Robert asked for a salary hike for the next installment of Iron Man. Currently, he is receiving $80 million, but he asked for $50 million more.

Marvel is still under negotiations with the actor. However, if he is not ready, they may even cast somebody else in the role. Though it may be disheartening for fans, at least the show will still go on.

Matters have to be figured out between the two parties before any final decisions. Till then, don’t expect the Iron Man 4 release date to be before 2020.
