Intex Technologies has once again launched a new phone that is added to its growing collection of mobile devices. The new phone comes with the name Intex Aqua Twist and is said to be coming with a twisting camera, hence the name.


The new smartphone, which will be available in the market soon, comes in two color variants which are black and white. It comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display that has a 480 x 854 pixel resolution. The dual-SIM enabled phone will be running on Android 5.1 Lollipop on a 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek MT6580 chipset processor, reports The Mobile Indian.

The phone, which has a dimension of 144 x 72 x 8.4 mm, comes with a Mali-400MP2 GPU. It also comes with a 1GB RAM and an internal storage of 8GB which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. The new Intex phones have the accelerometer, ambient light sensors and proximity sensors.

The Aqua Twist phone also supports 3G(HSPA+), HSPA/HSPA+/GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, and GPS/A-GPS in terms of connectivity options. Additionally, the 175 grams phone sports the 5 megapixel rotating camera which is the biggest highlight of the Intex Aqua Twist phone, according to Gadgets 360.

The rotating feature of the said handset allows the camera to be used as both a rear and front facing shooter. The auto focus camera has a 1.4um pixel size (micron), a F2.8 Aperture, an OV5648 sensor and a video recording ability.

It is powered by a 2200 mAh removable battery which can last up to 275 hours on standby time and up to 18 hours while on talk time. Intex Aqua Twist also comes preloaded with apps such as Intex Service, Matrabhasha, OLX, Online Software Update, Amazon, Goibibo, Freecharge, Newshunt, Follo, Opera Mini, Saavn and Hike Messenger. It is reported to be priced at 5,199 INR.

Last week, Intex has also launched a smartphone called the Cloud Breeze which can be bought exclusively on Snapdeal for 3,999 INR. Phone Arena says it comes in dark grey and white colors and has a 5-inch FWVGA display.

It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop on a1.3 GHz quad core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor with a Mali-400 GPU. Like the Aqua Twist, Intex Cloud Breeze also comes with a 1GB RAM and an internal storage of 8GB which is expandable via microSD card. It is dual SIM enabled and is powered by a 2500 mAh battery.
