Layout, Instagram’s collage app, is now available for Android. The app was launched a couple of months back by Facebook’s photo-sharing platform, but its availability was still limited to iOS devices.

Layout can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store. The app will only work for users with Android 4.1 above. The interface of the app is quite intuitive and the space requirement is not too much.

For Android users, Instagram has launched a featured named Structure. This new addition will let the users bring out textures and details. However, iOS users have yet to get this feature for their app.

The Instagram collage app provides an opportunity for users to create collages of their favorite images from their camera rolls and then share them on social media.

You can even use Instagram filters on the collage, which is also saved to the device of the user so that it can be sent using other messaging apps.

Instagram Layout is unique as it can remix up to 9 of your photos. It allows you to search people with the ‘Faces’ tab and can check out the last 30 photos of a certain user. In case you want an instant collage of the photo you’ve just taken, you can use the built-in Photo Booth to snap 4 pictures in seconds and see the app create the collage immediately.

Instagram had already launched another app named Hyperlapse in the month of August for iOS users. The app is still not available for Android users.
