‘Insidious 4’ Release Date Announced!

“The Insidious: Chapter 4” release date was just recently announced by Universal Studios.


According to a report from Slash Film, the studios dropped an official announcement video for the coming “Insidious: Chapter 4” release date in 2017, with scriptwriter Leigh Whannell and lead actress Lin Shayne spilling off the details.

“Insidious: Chapter 4” will come out on October 20, 2017, just in time for the coming Halloween season.

“Insidious 4 ” will be directed by Adam Robitel of The Taking of Deborah Logan, alongside producers Oren Peli and James Blum. Steven Schneider, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, and Charles Layton will be the executive producers.

In the video posted in Blumhouse website, Lin Shayne can be seen playing with tarot cards in Jason Blum’s office when scriptwriter Leigh Whannel approached her.

The veteran actress says that she is “getting something.” After this, the tarot cards reveal the release date of Insidious: Chapter 4 was well as the production details.

Movie Pilot said that “Live By Night” by Warner Bros. starring Ben Affleck will coincided with “Insidious: Chapter 4” release date.

The Insidious franchise started out with the story of Elise Rainier, a psychic who helped a teenager named Stefanie Scott who has been haunted.

Movie Pilot said that since October 2017 will be the movie’s release date, it is likely that the production will start by the end of this year.

There is still no confirmation as to who are the other cast members aside from Lin Shayne and if Angus Sampson and Leigh Whannell will reprise their roles from the previous Insidious: Chapter 4.

The original movie reportedly garnered a whopping $97 million worldwide in sales. The next movie Insidious Chapter 2 meanwhile has $161.9 million worldwide box office sales and Insidious Chapter 3 went a little low when it earned $112.9 million worldwide.
