Hulk Hogan might have shed tears of joy when the court sided with him over his case against Gawker, but his ex-wife is not happy at all. Ex wife Linda shared that Hogan winning the case makes her feel sick.

The former professional wrestler was recently awarded $115 million for winning the case against Gawker, the news site that posted his sex tape online. Linda does not care that it was the court that made the decision. She calls it dirty money and does not want anything to do with it, The Sun found out.

Linda is particularly peeved that Hogan actually gained money. “It made me a little bit sick,” she said. “I don’t know how he can sleep at night getting that money for doing what he did in a roundabout way. It’s dirty money.”

Linda was married to Hogan when the sex tape was created. On the sex tape, Hogan was having sex with the wife of a close friend, filmed by the friend himself. Regardless of the details, he cheated on Linda as a result. “It is kind of like saying he is being rewarded for bad behaviour,” Linda said.

“To have that kind of windfall of cash for something that you did that was just so seedy, it’s bothersome to me. I wouldn’t want any share of that,” she added.

Hogan and his ex wife split in 2007, after 25 years of marriage. Naturally, the case brought about some bad memories to surface for the ex-spouse.

The court, however, cannot see this angle of the story. After all, the court was not asked to evaluate Hogan’s morality. Instead, the jury was tasked to make a judgement as to whether Gawker violated the privacy rights of the famous personality by posting his sex tape online. The jury found Gawker guilty of this action. Most recently, the jury even awarded an additional $25 million as punitive charges to Hogan. It remains to be seen if Gawker can shell out a total of $140 million for losing this case.
