What's This?

The house that hosted the most festive parties and adopted some of the sexiest women in the face of the earth is finally up for sale. Playboy’s Hugh Hefner, notorious ladies’ man since time memorial, has put the Playboy mansion for sale.

Real estate will surely get a kick out of Hefner’s iconic property as the Playboy Mansion is now up for sale at a whopping $200 million, the most expensive home to ever go on sale in the U.S.

The property has been consistently hosting parties and events. Some A-list Hollywood stars such as Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell were two of the regulars in the Playboy Mansion parties. The almost 200,000 square foot mansion is situated in a five-acre lot in Holmby Hills known as Los Angeles’ Platinum Triangle.

The Playboy Mansion houses 29 rooms, has a four-bedroom guest house, has a zoo license, and is located on the strongest selling point in U.S. real estate properties. In fact, Hefner himself housed numerous young and sexy women in the estate.

One of his Playboy bunnies and former girlfriend Carla Howe indicated, “[Hefner] almost never leaves home and refuses to change anything in the mansion – the whole place feels like it’s stuck in the 1980’s.” This proves that whoever will get a hold of the said property will earn a rich historical place that every man dreams of having.

Another former girlfriend, Izabella St. James also indicated during an episode of 2010 book Bunny Tales, “Everything in the Mansion felt old and stale, and Archie the house dog would regularly relieve himself on the hallways curtains, adding a powerful whiff of urine to the general scent of decay.” It looks like the mansion has lost its touch and a new bachelor now has the opportunity to make the property regain its former glory.

According to the Playboy Enterprises CEO, Scott Flanders, “This is the right time to seek a buyer for this incredible property who understands the role the Mansion has played for our brand and enables us to continue to reinvest in the transformation of the business.” He added, “They Playboy Mansion has been a creative center for Hef as his residence and workplace for the past 40 years, as it will continue to be if the property is sold.”

Provided that the buyer will not only get the property, he will also house the most notorious playboy to have ever lived: Hugh Hefner himself.

Agent Gary Hold, the seller of the property released a formal statement, “At the time Hef and Playboy purchased the home, it was the largest real estate transaction in Los Angeles history. Today, we hope to make the same history with the property and its sprawling acreage, neighboring the Los Angeles Country Club.”

The Playboy Mansion for sale is a sign that a new bachelor may have the opportunity to continue the reign of the original Playboy bachelor, Hugh Hefner.
