Another Chinese smartphone manufacturer launched its mobile phone offering, this time in the markets of Pakistan. The newly launched phone is the Huawei Y6 Pro, which is the tech firm’s answer to the public’s recent demand and/or requirement in a handheld device. Some would simply put it lightly as proof to the phone maker’s commitment and consistency of progressive development in technology.


According to Spring Media Bubble, the Y6 Pro device is currently one of the most anticipated phones. So the Chinese firm is expecting the device to also receiving quite a big reception in Pakistan. It runs Android 5.1 along with the brand’s own Huawei EMUI3.1 Lite operating system on a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6735P. It has a 64 bit internal hardware that makes the phone function smoothly and efficiently.

According to the Chinese tech firm’s website, Huawei Y6 Pro has a 5-inch display with a body dimension of 143.1 x 71.8 x 9.7mm and weighs 160 grams. It comes with a design that is inspired by water. It stands out as a modern and elegant device with a metal frame design. It has a RAM of 2GB and an internal storage capacity of 16GB.

It boasts of a 5 megapixel 84 degree front shooter and a 13 megapixel 2.0 aperture rear shooter. Y6 Pro is powered by a 4000 mAh battery that Huawei ensures users is long lasting. The Chinese brand said that with the Smart Power Saving technology that uses eight separate power optimization approaches, the device can last up to 24 hours on idle mode with only 10% battery life.

Y6 Pro can also act as a charger for your other devices and can provide 15 hour of data usage, 39 hours of talk time, 48 hours of heavy use and 90 hours of light use. It supports GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi direct, and 4G LTE in terms of connectivity options. It comes with G-sensor, P-sensor, and L-sensor.

According to Times News, it was originally produced as a global variant of Huawei’s previously launched phone, Enjoy 5, following the Y6 phone which is an international variant of Honor 4A. The phone was also silently launched last month and it was mentioned that it will also be made available in the markets of Pakistan. Huawei was able to complete the launch just this March. The dual-SIM enabled phone is currently available in three color variants which are gold, white and gray.
