 What Nougat Offers

As for what to expect from the Android Nougat update, people will have to understand that the software is not the game changer most assumed it to be, as claimed by Engadget.

“Instead, what we got was a smattering of big (and overdue) features mixed with lower-level changes that make Android more elegant. That might not make for the most viscerally exciting update, but that doesn’t make Nougat any less valuable or useful,” the report said.

Nonetheless, people will see more of what Google has in store through the Settings page. For instance, the Data Server allows people to define which programs will utilize the data plan. This will be handy for people who have not availed any unlimited data schemes. Likewise, Google offers smaller changes that makes the feel of the software more thoughtful and polished.
