Finally a Chromebook you would want to buy, HP Chrombook 13. The brand has introduced this new laptop at an event held at Google’s New York office. If you have always wanted to get yourself a Chromebook Pixel but could not afford it, then this new machine if for you.


HP Chromebook 13 being a new machine, let us first see what it is made of. HP’s chromebook is a premium looking, metal design laptop that has packed an Intel’s Core M Skylake processors. With a 13.3-inch display, 3200 x 1800 resolution, Chromebook 13 can be configured up to 16GB of RAM. This laptop compared to Chromebook Pixel is though affordable, it is not cheap. The starting price is $499. Depending on your requirements, you can choose other models that may cost you $599 or more.

HP Chromebook 13 is clearly designed for executives to carry a decent, elegant looking machine at the workplace. HP has clearly stated that this laptop is not for kids. As manufactured with an intention to serve people at workplaces, HP Chromebook 13 gives you 11.5 hours of battery life. The company has also fitted the latest, advanced USB connector, USB Type-C ports. Here comes another best part. Ever thought how excellent it would be if your keyboard glows in the dark so that you can work even when the lights are dim or actually turn off the lights for the kids to sleep while you get to work? Chromebook 13 has listened to our requests.

Considering the dim or no light issues, HP has fixed a backlight keyboard for the latest Chromebook. For HP Chromebook 13, you also have an option of HP Elite USB-C Docking Station with which you can “Connect up to two Full HD displays, charge your phone or tablet, access a wired network and connect other USB-ready devices.” To cut the long story short, as The Verge says, “The Chromebook 13 is a little bit like HP’s answer to the question: what would it look like if the MacBook ran Chrome?”
