Setting up the Google account

Just as in any other Android phone, you will need a Google account to access the play store. If you don’t have one, you will be asked to create one. If you already used an Android phone, you can just use that Google account and you will get access to the apps you have already used. Backup option is not mandatory, though; you can always start fresh.

Screen locking

Now it’s time to make your phone secured. You can add a password to protect your phone or you can choose pattern locking. The OnePlus 2 setup also gives you options for fingerprint locking. However, this one will be available after you complete the setup. The fingerprint reader is available from the settings of the phone. Choose the option and place your finger to make the phone scan it for the first time. Keep your finger there until the phone vibrates. Move it up and place it again till the 100% mark is reached. Now you can activate the fingerprint option from the security setting of the phone.
