‘How To Get Away With Murder’ Season 3 Spoilers: Frank Delfino Knows Wallace Mahoney Killer?
“How to Get Away with Murder season 3” is still months away but talks about what will happen in the third season of the popular drama are already rampant. The question of the day seems to be, “Is Frank Killer Wallace Mahoney’s killer?” If not, does he know the killer but so confused that he had to vanish?Advertisement
In an interview with Variety, creator Pete Nowalk explained what happened during the finale. He also teased what’s in store in the upcoming third season of “How to Get Away with Murder.”
According to Nowalk, the theory that implies Frank Delfino is the killer makes the most sense. He is, by far, the one with the most reasons to kill Mahoney even if he has nothing to gain from it.
He was revealed to be responsible for the murder on Lila Stangrad under the orders of Sam Keating. Sam’s wife and Delfino’s mentor Annalise Keating also found out that he had a role in causing the accident that took the life of Annalise’s unborn child.
Delfino could have committed the act out of guilt, after betraying his boss’ trust and giving Mahoney a reason to stage her accident. Murdering the man who caused Keating so much suffering would seem to be a way to make amends for his actions.
He could have also murdered Mahoney as an act of sheer spite. After Annalise’s husband Sam coerced him in murdering Sam’s mistress, he could have blamed his misfortune on his encounter with Wallace Mahoney.
But then, the show thrives on surprising viewers, so all these things that make sense will just go up in smoke when the new season sets in. We can be sure though that Frank Delfino knows something or else he would not vanish just like that!
Whether or not Frank Delfino had a hand in the murder of Wes’ father is still up for debate. In an interview with TV Line, Charlie Weber did reveal that he will be a regular in season 3.
His remarks may indicate that his character will return to “How to Get Away with Murder.” Hopefully, his return will reveal what really happened and also provide an explanation.
