Hillary Clinton’s campaign bus belonging to the Democratic National Committee dumped stinking sewage while passing through a Georgia road.
After the incident took place, hazmat crews in Gwinnett County were brought in to clean up the waste left behind by the bus.
Officers from the Lawrenceville Police Department were called to the O’Reilly Auto Parts at 525 Grayson Highway. They arrived after reports were made about an RV illegally leaving sewage into the storm drain.
According to 11Alive, the responding police officer was informed about the incident by an employee of the auto parts store. He told the officer that he saw the RV stop on Grayson Highway in front of the store. He also said that after stopping, the RV dumped raw sewage onto the roadway and into the storm drain.
The store employee who talked to the police also took snaps of the the RV. From the photos, it could be seen that the RV featured pictures of Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and her running mate Tim Kaine.
The police officer informed that a huge amount of toilet paper was on the roadway right where the RV had been. He also said that a “foul smell” fused in the air. According to CBS 46, police said that when they arrived on the scene, toilet paper was dispersed all over the place; a foul smell was also present.
“This was an unacceptable mistake and we apologize to the Lawrenceville community for any harm that was caused. We are taking corrective action with the charter bus company to prevent this from ever happening again and contacting local officials to determine the best course of action,” a DNC spokesperson said in a statement.
