Following the report of Herman Echevarria’s death, fans cannot help but ask if there was a foul play behind it, or if it was another case of suicide.
On Monday, the entertainment world was rocked with the news about finding the 61-year-old “The Real Housewives of Miami” actor lifeless inside Epic Hotel and Residences in Miami.
Did the 61-year-old chair and CEO of marketing and communications company BVK/Meka took his own life?
According to E! News, police have confirmed that the estranged husband of Alexia Echevarria was found dead inside his room after his family and employees reportedly felt strange that Herman Echevarria still did not show up in his office on the said hour of the day.
With his sudden demise, his ex-wife, whom he got separated from in 2015, immediately issued a statement.
“The Echevarria family is heartbroken over the sudden passing of our patriarch Herman Echevarria this morning,” she said. “He was a family man, a hardworking businessman, dedicated to helping others and a pillar of his community that was loved by everyone whose life he touched.”
“We ask that you please respect our privacy during this time of grieving,” she continued.
It was reported that the family believed that a heart attack caused the death of Herman Echevarria, something which coincides with the authorities’ conclusion. The police reportedly revealed that the “RHOM” star’s death has nothing to do with suicide, alcohol or drugs, thus, treating the case closed after doing an investigation.
“It was a natural death,” Detective Anthony Reyes told Radar Online.
It was learned that the reality TV star will be brought to his final resting place at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery on Sept. 29. Prior to his death, Herman Echevarria was known as a businessman and politician who served 12 years as a council member of Hialeah, a small town in Miami.
