After a tragic accident, four-year-old Heidi Miller has been left without parents or sisters. She is said to have woken up in the hospital asking for her family, particularly her mother. Heidi lost her family when their 2005 Chrysler Town & Country ended up colliding with an Amtrak train. Now, people from all over are gathering to help her and her family.
As Morning News USA previously reported, Heidi is the sole survivor of a vehicle accident that left the rest of her family dead at the scene. Following her rescue, the four-year-old was airlifted to a hospital in Denver. The Colorado State Patrolsaid that Heidi sustained serious injuries. The good news is, she is now said to be awake and is in a stable condition.
In an effort to help Heidi’s family, Philip Schlabach immediately started a GoFundMe page after learning about the accident. The goal was to raise $50,000 to help pay for Heidi’s Flight for Life (air transport) and hospital bills. At the same time, the funds will be used to pay for the funeral expenses of Heidi’s mother Christina, father Steve, and sisters Abigail, Kathryn and Ellianna. Today, the page has managed to raise $63,618.
