The episode four of the “Grey’s Anatomy” season 13 showed Jessica Capshaw, who plays as Arizona, leaving New York City after she visited her ex-wife Callie and girlfriend Penny.
But Arizona will not be left out in the love department as spoilers are saying that her former flame Leah Murphy is back in Shonda Rhimes’ series.
Jessa Ferrer will reprise her role as Leah Murphy for “Grey’s Anatomy” season 13, giving hints that she might be the Jessica Capshaw was referring to in an interview.
Showrunner Shonda Rhimes has also hinted her comeback.
“I’m guessing and think it will be someone who has a great amount of confidence and excitement,” Jessica Capshaw told Variety.
It can be recalled that Leah Murphy and Arizona were not able to push through with theru budding romance in season 10.
Leah Murphy joined the series in season 9 as an intern, along with Jo and Stephanie Edwards. Jessa Ferrer’s character was fired by Webber due to lack of skills in the surgical department, which also halted her budding relationship with Arizona, Melty said.

If there will be a reunion between Leah Murphy and Arizona, will Callie still get in the way of their romance in “Grey’s Anatomy” season 13?
Shonda Rhimes also hinted that Callie, played by Sara Ramirez, might still comeback in the series despite her departure.
Instead of killing her character, the show decided to send her away, along with Penny in New York City, another Variety report said.
Shonda Rhimes said, “She will always have a home at Shondaland.”
