What's This?

“Gotham” season 2 is going to premiere soon and the Fox entertainment franchise is not being miserly in showcasing footage of the show. The last two weeks were packed with several clips from the show. The latest one is just released and this can actually let the fans know what they can expect out of the series.

The series will see Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon and Donal Logue as Detective Harvey Bullock. “The Rise Of The Villains”  will see a new villain in the show Theo Galvan along with his sister Tigress. James Frain will be playing the part of the new villain in the show.

The cast of the second season includes McKenzie, David Mazouz, Robin Lord Taylor, Camren Bicondova, Cory Michael Smith, Erin Richards, Morena Baccarin, Donal Logue and Sean Pertwee.

Season 2 promises to take viewers deeper into the underworld of Gotham City before Batman arrives. In the last clip released Gordon’s lover Barbara Kean was shown getting comfortable in her new home in Arkham Asylum. The Galavan siblings and their presumably nefarious plans have been shown in the recent trailer. The showrunners may have found a balance between the silly comic book world and reality.

The trailer of the show promises some twists, of which many can be quite unexpected. While much is already shown in the trailer of the show, you can really get a feeling that the show has even more than what is being presented. “Gotham” season 2 will start at Monday on 8 p.m. on Fox.
