Gears of War 4 gamers have their concerns on how the game will be when played on a different platform. The game has been long known to render well on the Xbox One but the same may not hold true if played on the PC.
Microsoft may have that covered with word that the company is ready for the Gears of War 4 PC edition issues that are expected to be brought up. According to an interview with Eurogamer, Gears of War 4 will have the ample flexibility to douse fears on possible game issues.
The most obvious among the problems that Gears of War 4 PC edition will bring is the display. Configuring the video settings is at the top of the worry list but The Coalition has got that covered.
It was revealed that the Gears of War 4 PC edition will have dynamic resolutions. This means that gamers don’t have to worry about game performance when playing on ultra-wide displays. Frame rates and vivid displays are expected to be different but it looks like all that is covered.
Unleashing The Power Of PC
While that promise is relieving, it may still depend on the PC where the game would be played. PC gaming would require high-end specs and The Coalition claims that the version will take advantage of the PC’s core processors.
With regards to the less stellar PCs, a benchmarking mode will be around to help. This means that users can optimize display and performance, which should break down the barriers of a poor performing game.
“Our focus on PC is to deliver a highly optimised, customisable experience first and foremost,” Mike Rayner, technical director of The Coalition bares.
Aside from the graphic-related concerns, gamers also take control on keyboard and mouse remapping. PC gaming may be different from game consoles and hopefully the flexible new features can help bring major improvements to games like Gears of War 4.
