‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6 Photos: Who’s Dead, Who’s Alive?

On Thursday, HBO unleashed new photos from “Game of Thrones” season 6, providing fans a sneak peak at the upcoming season premiere on April 24.


As stated by Variety, the new images of “Game of Thrones” season 6 reveal the status of some characters whose providence were left uncertain in the Game of Thrones season 5 finale, including Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark and Alfie Allen as Theon Greyjoy, who were last seen jumping from one of Winterfell’s risky high walls.

Variety also reports, “Theon’s not the only Greyjoy spotlighted in the new photos of his sister, Yara (Gemma Whelan), and father, Balon (Patrick Malahide), also make appearances in the stills, strongly suggests that the inhabitants of the Iron Islands may play a larger role in the ongoing battle for control of the Seven Kingdoms this season. Meanwhile, back in King’s Landing, Cersei and Jaime Lannister must come to terms with the murder of their daughter, Myrcella portrayed by the actress and singer Nell Tiger Free, who was poisoned on the way back from Dorne.”

According to Coming Soon, the actor, director, and producer Ian McShane is also geared up to be a guest star in Game of Thrones season six. The executive producer’s job falls in the hands of Carolyn Strauss, David Benioff, Frank Doelger, Bernadette Caulfield and D.B. Weiss. Co-executive producers of Game of Thrones are Guymon Casady, George R.R. Martin and Vince Gerardis.

As claimed by USA Today, the English actor Kit Harington stated, “Fans should tune in and watch Game of Thrones, for the reason that, whatever happens in the next season will be very exciting. But Jon Snow is dead, I’m afraid.”

“I think the speculation of the fans are great for the show, but people shouldn’t get their hopes up about anything, as the drama is very good at dashing hopes.”
