Fans of HBO’s fantasy drama series Game of Thrones love a good theory, and they consider the theory where the characters Jon Snow and Meera Reed are actually siblings. And considering that Jon Snow might be the true heir to the Iron Throne, Meera Reed could be next in line if Snow is dead.

Digital Spy reports that Ellie Kendrick, who portrays Meera Reed, stated, “I genuinely don’t have any idea as we don’t get told anything! But, I don’t know. I think individuals might just be thinking that, for the reason that both of us got curly hair. In the books, our characters are described quite differently.”

The English actress also said, “Hey, I’d love it to be true, because it would mean great things for my role in the series, but I’m holding back on speculation for now. I think what’s been going on in George RR Martin’s brain is so much more a complex wormhole than we could possibly imagine.”

Kendrick knows the difficulty of explaining Meera and Jojen and their parentage, but the actress thinks it will unwind itself eventually. Only time will tell whether Jon Snow and Meera Reed are related; however, Kendrick stated that she would be thrilled if the theory turns out true.

“To be honest, I don’t think Meera would be all that good on the Iron Throne! Meera Reed is a little bit of a socialist at heart, I don’t think the character will be able to rule with the iron fist that the throne requires.”

According to Independent, after not featuring in Game of Thrones’ last season, Kendrick as Meera Reed is slated to return in April, as well as Bran Stark, Hodor and Jojen.
